Dear Pastors and praying friends,

Greetings in the name that is above every name. The Lord is good! It is with joy that I am writing to you. It is also with thankfulness in my heart towards you all for your faithful giving and prayers. Our family has a list of our supporters, and we pray for you.

With God’s help, we’ll be departing our home in Conyers, GA. on September 15th as planned. We will be heading to Pierre, SD. I will be working with Pastor Hailey there through the winter. I still have 9 meetings left to attend. We are at 93% of our support level. On July 21st we had our departure interview at Macedonia. Everything is set on go. The packing process has begun. I have recently mailed off our deposit and first month’s rent on the house where we will be living. Wow! It is not very long now! We all are excited, scared and sometimes saddened by knowing that we are leaving in just over a month.

My wife and I are planning an anniversary get-away the 9th, 10th, and 11th of this month. The 11th is our 18th wedding anniversary. We feel it would be wise to take some time to ourselves before leaving for the field. Please pray that it will be a time of drawing closer together and rest as we focus on the huge task before us.

I want to invite you all to the commissioning service my church is having for me. It is scheduled for Saturday, September 10th at 6:00pm. at Light of Calvary Baptist Church.
