Church Planters in Arizona

Dear Pastor & Friends: Hello again from the White Mountains of Arizona. We are already into the new year, and the time seems to be going by so fast. In January we had Dr. Allen Barker and Pastor: Barry Philbeck from N.C. with us. They preached the Sunday Morning & Night services. The messages were a blessing and a challenge to us and the church people, it was a joy to have them here. That Sunday morning a lady from the community came for the preaching services, she had never attended. She is still attending on Sunday Mornings, please pray for her salvation. If she gets saved, this will open other doors of opportunity in our community.

Many of you have been praying for Aimee Hernandez, she is the lady who had cancer removed from her leg back in November. She just seen her Dr. and she is now able to use a cane to walk. She is still in physical therapy. We do appreciate all your prayers for her. Also please remember Bill Hall a man in the church. He is 80 years old, he needs to have a hip replacement. He suffers so much from the hip pain, but he is in church faithfully. Please remember these in your prayers.

The church is doing fine. Our Sunday School attendance has been some what up and down. Some of the young people have not been coming if their parents don’t come. It is so sad, the young people need to be in church as well as their parents. Our goal this year is to turn our community upside down, for the glory of God. By trying to reach this area for Christ, with old fashion Bible Preaching. God’s word says “he chose the foolishness of preaching to save them that are lost.” Presently we have a good number of all ages attending the church.

Sandy and the kids are doing fine. Sandy hurt her wrist/arm in November but never seen the Dr. till Jan. She has tendonitis in her right arm. It is very painful, the Dr. put it into a brace for her to wear 24/7, it seem to be helping her for a few weeks. In the last 3 days the pain has came back. We would appreciate your prayers for her, she is right handed, so it makes it hard for her to do a lot of things. The kids are doing fine. They are keeping busy with their home schooling and looking forward to getting out of school in May. We do apologize for our letter not being on letter head, we have just ran out and going to have some printed. Special thanks for Birthday cards received for Luther in Feb.

We would like to thank you for your faithful prayers and for your supporting the ministry here in Arizona. Each of you have a part in this ministry. May the Lord bless each of you. Continue to pray for the Quintana Family.

Yours in Christ
