Church Planters in Arizona

Dear Pastor & Friends,

Hello from the Quintana Family. As you already know we have been on furlough to raise new support. It has been a very busy time for us & traveling many miles. Since our last news letter, we have had a few more churches to take us on for support. We are very thankful for these new supporters. We have been in many new churches and it is always blessing to be around God's people. We have attended some wonderful services and it has been a great encouragement to my heart, as well to my family. In the month of January we had the privilege to be in a few churches, and what a blessing it was to see many faces we had went to grade school & high school with. What a blessing to see these men/women serving the Lord. This was a added blessing for me and Sandy.

The end of January (Sandy & Michelle) left to return to Arizona. After much prayer, I though it would be best for them to return, to be in the church to help & encourage the people. This was a first time for Sandy to drive across the United States by herself. Her & Michelle got snow/ice bound in Oklahoma for a day & half. They made the rest of the way in with snow flurries and some snow packed interstates in New Mexico. The Lord watched over them and protected them . They arrived back in Arizona on Feb 3.

I will be leaving on March 5th to drive home to Arizona, I would appreciate your prayers for me as I travel. One of the men in the church will be flying in the morn of the 5th to ride back with me. I will be finishing up some meetings this week & making plans for the trip home. Your prayers are very much appreciated.

Church News
The church is doing good. There have been some set backs, we lost a family that had been with us for several years. They were faithful & a help to the church in many area’s. So this has been a discouragement to the people. But everyone has remained faithful. Several services were canceled due to snow/ice in Jan & Feb. The White Mountains have seen some good snow fall for this year. We are thankful for the moisture. Continue to pray for the church and the people. Pray for the lost, that they may be saved. So many have a form of religion but do not know the Lord in their hearts.

Thanks
We do want to thank Bro. Jason Dowell & his family for coming to Arizona to fill in for us while we were away. Bro. Jason done a fine job in preaching. Please be praying for Bro. Jason he will be also leaving out in a few days after I arrive, to go home to NC.

Prayer
Would ask you to continue to pray for the Quintana Family. Also pray we will pick up some more support from the new churches we went to while on furlough. We do appreciate your faithfulness in supporting the ministry in Arizona and for you prayers. I appreciate the Birthday cards received for my (Luther) birthday. Thanks for all your kindness. May the Lord bless each of you.

Yours in Christ,
The Quintana Family
