Dear Pastor & Friends,
Hello from the White Mountains of Arizona. What a joy to serve
the great God of Glory. We are so unworthy of His mercy on our
lives. Even if we lived a hundred years we could never thank him
enough for His blessings that have been gave to us. We have so
much to be thankful for.
It is great to be back on the field, in Arizona. From our last
letter I left NC. on March 5th . The Lord watched over me as I
traveled 2,000 miles to go home. The weather was great, and I made
great travel time. I left on a Monday morning and I arrived home
on Wed around 2:00pm. It was great to see my wife, family & the
church family. Thank you for all your prayers for me while I traveled
across the miles.
Church News The church is doing good. The attendance has picked
back up some. We have a older couple that has started coming in the
recent weeks. They live here in the area & had been looking for
a church. We are presently preparing for Vacation Bible School for
the first week of June. We would appreciate your prayers concerning
this, that we may reach the children of our community. The church
has decided to go ahead and start the addition to the building. The
addition will be a 30 x 30 attached to the existing building. I have
been meeting with the county, they are requiring several requirements
before they will approve of the final building permit. They are requiring
that we redo the exit doors for the sanctuary . So we have to cut
out new openings & install new doors before they will approve
the new building permit.
We would appreciate your prayers concerning this. We need the
additional room for Sunday School rooms.
Pray that we will meet the county requirements & be approved.
We would like for you to be praying for one of the men in the church.
His name is Bill Hall, he is up in years & has many health
problems. He can hardly attend church now.
Family The family is doing fine. It will soon be time to plant
our garden again. Michelle should be finished up with her school
year in another week. She is looking forward to being out of school
for the summer. Sandy is doing fine. She just had a wisdom tooth
removed, she had some problems from that, & thankful now that
it is out.
We do want to thank each of you for all your many prayers for
us and for the ministry here in Arizona. Each of you have a part
in this ministry with your prayers and your giving. We appreciate
your faithfulness in supporting the ministry. Always continue to
pray for the Quintana family. All your kindness is most appreciated.
May the Lord bless each of you.
Yours in Christ,
The Quintana Family
