Dear Pastor & Friends:
Hello from the White Mountains of Arizona. We are now into Spring
Time, out for a few days we were thinking we were back into Winter
time. Spring is a beautiful season and to see the handy work of
God is a blessing. For the past few weeks I have been preaching
on messages that deal with the Family. How to build a Godly Home,
we began with the breaking of the ground, to the foundation, to
the main structure. During one of these message a young lady attended
with her Dad, whom has been attending for some time now. On her
visitors card she wrote, “This is only the second time I have attended
a church service in my life and I am trying to find out more about
God” . This young lady was in her early 20’s . Please pray as we
deal with these souls. I realize that the Lord must soften their
hearts, for us to reach them. Some days its seems the people are
more open to hear the gospel and other days they do not want to
hear anything. This community continues to grow and people need
the Lord. Please continue to pray for these people to be saved.
The last couple of months we have been doing a layman’s class with some of the young teen boys and their dad’s. The class is going well. We are dealing with, how to dress Godly, Christian ethics , and being worker’s within the church. These are people whom help within the church, ushers, song leaders, Sunday School Teachers, etc……… This class is needed on how to conduct your selves as leaders within the church. My wife & another sister in Christ, have just started a class for the teen girls. This class will teach them how to conduct them selves as young ladies for Christ in their daily walk. They will be covering a lot of subjects in this class. Our young people are the next generation, and we need to reach them for Christ.
The church kids are preparing to attend a Christian Camp over in New Mexico in June for a week. They are very excited about this. We are also preparing for Vacation Bible School for the end of June through 1st of July. We have a youth group coming from Georgia to help out with this. We are praying we can reach the young people of our community.
We have some very special news for you. We are now grandparents!!!!!!!! Imagine that. Caet Lynn Quintana was born to our oldest son Isaiah & Christy on March 3rd . Caet Lynn was a preemie, but to look at her now, she is really growing. I guess we never dreamed we would be grandparents, just never gave it much thought. Caet Lynn is very precious and those blue eyes just melt you away. Needless to say, Grandpa & Grandma are happy with this new addition to our family, and she is a blessing.
The family is doing fine. Home school is almost out. Sandy’s arm seems to be doing better with the tendonitis, but it still bothers her some. We are getting ready to plant our garden now. So this will keep Sandy & Michelle busy. Michelle had an accident with her right hand she burned 3 fingers, one was a third degree burn, she had a bad mishap with a hot glue gun. The burns are on the mend, and we are praying no infection sets up. Nathanael is now busy with his Spring/Summer job.
We would like to thank each of you for your many prayers and for your financial support for the ministry here in Arizona. Each of you make up a part in this ministry. May the Lord bless & our prayers are with you. Yours in Christ
The Quintana Family
