Greetings in the name of Christ, and hello from the White Mountains of Arizona. What a joy to write again regarding the ministries here in Arizona. The weather has been very unusual, cool and then hot, we have been breaking record temps here. We finally received a thunderstorm this week. We are waiting for the monsoon’s to come and bring us much needed moisture.

The past few weeks have been very busy for us. The end of June we had Vacation Bible School. The Old Suwannee Baptist Church of Georgia sent out their youth group to conduct the Vacation Bible School. This group of young people and four adults done a wonderful job. We had around 28 kids coming , as well as some of their parents came and stayed. Everyone enjoyed the VBS thoroughly. Many doors were open through the VBS. We have visited many of the homes of the children that came, please pray they will come back to church. Two teen boys have been attending church now as a result of the VBS. We are praising the Lord for what has been done. My hearts desire is to see the church grow for the glory of God, that Christ might be magnified. Satan has destroyed many people lives. We want them to know that Jesus loves them and that we care for them. As Christians we are to live a Godly life in front of them, they need to see Christ in us. Thank God for salvation and the privilege to serve him.

We wanted to give you an update on Aimee Hernandez, she is the lady whom had cancer in her leg, she just recently had another surgery for a total knee replacement. She is back in physical therapy . The Dr. says she is doing good. Continue to pray for her. We would ask you to continue to pray for Bill Hall, he is having a total hip replacement this week, pray that he has a good recovery with no complications.

Our young teens went to camp in Silver City, NM for a week. They had a wonderful time, and many decisions were made for Christ. One of our teens came to me after the camp, and ask me to pray for her, that she had not shown respect toward me (her Pastor), as she should have and ask for my forgiveness. Praise the Lord for this. God is working in their hearts. I have been doing a serious of messages on the family. I believe the Lord is working on a lot of people. I have seen a change in the way people are conducting their lives. My prayer is that they can see the joy of having a Godly Christian Family, that serves the Lord together.

Sandy and the kids are doing fine. They are enjoying their time out of school. Home school will start back end of August. Sandy is busy with the garden and ready to start canning now. The Elk are becoming a problem here with the garden, so far we have been able to keep them out.
