Greetings from the White
Mountains of Arizona. It is amazing that another year has swiftly
flew by. The season to celebrate our Lords birth is upon us. In
gospel of Luke we find these word’s. “And the angel
said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a
son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall
be called the Son of the highest: and the Lord God shall give unto
him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the
house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end”
What a blessing to know God brought forth his Son into the world,
through this little virgin woman. God found favour with her, she
no doubt felt unworthy to bring forth the Lamb of God. We know this
is just one of God’s great miracles of His word. Each soul
that comes to Christ is the miracle of the new birth. Jesus is the
reason for the season.
The church is doing fine. We are having visitor’s from the
area to come & many show a interest in coming back. This past
Sunday, a young girl in the teen class was saved, praise the Lord
for this soul. Our plans are to still build on to the church for
more Sunday School space. The hold up right now is the blue prints.
The county approved the go ahead but wanted a more detail of the
drawings.
The end of October Bro. Larry Adams & two other Brethren delivered
a small church bus. It was a blessing to receive this. We have had
some problems getting it on the road because of some regulations
in the state of Arizona. One problem is the bus will have to be
painted another color. The standard school bus yellow is not allowed
in the state of Arizona--for buses other than for school district
use. Would ask you to be in prayer concerning this. We would like
to get the bus on the road, but also we need the extra Sunday School
space too.
It is a busy time of the year for us & the church. We have
been working on a Christmas program & play. We will also be
going caroling to some of the elderly people & sick in the community.
This past Sat---the church ladies had a Christmas Luncheon &
devotional, there was 25 in attendance for this. Would ask you to
put Aimee Hernandez back on the prayer list. At the present time
she is back in Tucson having more test ran. This is the lady whom
a year ago had cancer in her leg & went though major surgery,
& had many complications. The Dr.’s just found another
spot on her leg. At present we do not have any results, but keep
her in your prayers.
The family is doing fine. Sandy & the kids are looking forward
to having some time off from school during Christmas. We would ask
you to remember a very special object of prayer for us, the Lord
knows all about it. Continue to pray also for the church ministry
here and for souls to be saved. We would like to wish each of you
a very Merry Christmas and Blessings in the New Year. We appreciate
all your many prayers and for your faithful support over the past
year. May the Lord Bless each of you.
Yours in Christ,
The Quintana Family
