Dear Pastor & Friends,
Hello again from the White Mountains of Arizona. And the mountains are white with snow. We are so thankful for the snow & moisture we have seen in the past two weeks. It is hard to believe that another year has gone by and a new one is waiting to approach us. As we look back we can see so many things the Lord has done in the hearts & lives of the people. And we know great things will be in store for the year 2008.
The church building addition is coming along great. We are almost ready for the electrical, rough in plumbing & mechanical inspection from the county. Please continue to pray as we complete this building project. Since our last news letter, we have a new family that has started attending the church services. This family is from a Mormon back ground & had been very active in the Mormon Church here in Vernon. The first Sunday they came, they really enjoyed the services, and reply they had never heard anything like they had heard in the preaching services. Upon visiting with them in their home, they replied they are tired of the Mormon Church. They have been faithfully coming on Sunday Mornings & asking a lot of questions. Pray they will continue to keep coming & get saved.
God continues to open doors of opportunity to present the gospel. In the past few months, I have been attending meetings for the Civil Air Patrol, which is United States Air Force Auxiliary. They have ask me to teach the Moral Leadership and to be Chaplain over the squadron. I am waiting on the final paper work from the Department of Defense. All my time and teaching will be all volunteer . Please pray that as I teach senior members and the cadets from 12- 21 years of age, that God would use me for his honor and glory.
Sandy & Michelle are both doing good. Keeping very busy with school, & preparing for church activities coming up for this month. We have a Christmas play/program planned, along with caroling, youth party, and News Years Fellowship.
We would like to thank each of you for your faithful prayers and supporting the ministry here in Arizona this past year. Each of you make up a part of this ministry. May the Lord bless each of you, and thank you for the many Christmas cards & gifts we have already received . We appreciate all your kindness.
Continue to pray for the Quintana family.
Yours in Christ,
The Quintana Family
